The HMWSSB has introduced Single Window Clearance Cell to provide the facility at
a place, to avoid the applicant oving from pillar to post and also to speed up
the process of providing new/enhanced water supply and sewerage connections to
all its customers.

Only thing one has to do is to submit the application online by visiting website
www.hyderbadwater.gov.in
/ customer service center, produce the required documents to the inspecting officer
visiting your house & to pay the amounts towards connection & other charges as
per the intimation given, within the prescribed period.

Enhancement of existing connection is possible but additional connection in A partment/Comercial
complex will not be considered. Enhancement of existing connection will be sanctioned
based on technical feasibility. A second connection will be considered only in Category
I (Domestic) i.e a 15mm size connection in conformity with the orders contained
in Board Proc.No.HMWSSB/MD/SWC/2013-14/1772, Dated:04.03.201 .
- Non refundable processing fee:

For processing the files an amount of Rs.1000/- will be charged for 15mm dia size
conection.
For above 15mm dia size connections an amout of Rs.2000 /- will be levied. This fee is Non Re-fundable and Non adjustable.

DOCUMENTS (Attested Copies) to be submitted to the inspecting officer visiting your house.

For new connections :
- Registered ownership Deed.
- GHMC/Municipal building sanctioned plan.
- GHMC/Municipal Tax assessment receipt.
- No objection Certificate if it is in specified locality.
- Patta certificate if it is a House.
- Slum area certificate if it is in slum areas.
- Occupancy Certificate issued by the GHMC/ Municipal Corporation if the plot area is more than 200 Sq.Mtrs and building height is above 6mtrs excluding stilt floor.
- An affidavit written on Rs.20/- Non judical stamp paper to the effect that the applicant shall abide by the various provisions of the HMWSSB Act, 1989 and its Rules,
Regulations and orders in force from time to time, duly notarized.
- For enhancement of existing conection :
- Customer Account Number (CAN) with latest bill payment receipt of existing connection is necessary.
- If category changes the enhancement is not applicable.

Amounts to be paid towards water supply & sewerage connection :
- As per HMWSSB Act and its Rules, Regulations, the plot area as per registered purchase deed, or building sanctioned plan whichever is higher will be adopted for calculation of connection charges.
- The cost of the water & Sewer lines has to be borne by the applicant, wherever the lines are not available. The amount would be as per the actual estimate prepared based on current Standard Schedule of Rates (SSR).
- Green Brigade (Physical) connection charges.
- A deposit equivalent to the charges for two months consumption along with applicable sewerage cess at current rates is to be paid.
(it should be borne in mind that the Board is not only investing huge amounts by borrowing from various financing agencies for laying water supply pipe
lines but also for construction of Resevoirs, Water Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations for drawing water from hundreds of K.Ms, Construction of
Sewerage Treatment plants and their day to day maintenance.)

Terms & Conditions for sanction :
- Connections shall be sanctioned subject to technical feasibility and as per the rules & regulations issued under the HMWSSB Act, 1989.
- Sanction of water supply & sewerage connection shall not confer any right or evidence to the applicant with regard to ownership of
the premises to which they are sanctioned.
- The applicant is required to acquaint th emselves with the relevant rules & Regulations in force from time to time which are to be followed.
- To pay the initial non-refundable & non-adjustable charges towards processing the application.
- To pay the connection charges as shown in the intimation letter, within the prescribed period.
- To construct Rain Water Harvesting structure as per the specifications before release of connection is mandatory.
- To construct sump having storage capacity to store water for 2 days requirement and meter chamber for water meter before connection is released.
- The Board is not liable when supply reduced or not made in certain circumstance .
- In all cases bulk supplies (Multi Storied Buildings and Non domestic supplies) where the monthly demand/consumption exceeds 1500KL the consumers are required to
enter into agreements with the HMWSSB for supply of water.
- Additional conection for restaurants, eating houses, clinics, etc., situated in the ground floor of any Multistoried building, which are already provided with a
connection under Category-II will be given at a flat rate of Rs.15,000/- for ½” size and Rs.25,000/- for ¾” size, subject to technical feasibility. In case the applicant
for such a connection is a lessee, the tenure of connection is subject to the concurrence of the owner and the tenure of the connection will be coterminous with the
lease period.

CATEGORY-III:Bulk Supplies vide Memo.No.MD/HMWSSB/BM-20/Bulk Supplies/2011,Dated:12.09.2011.
- General :
- Additional connections for restaurants, eating houses, clinics etc.,situated in the ground floor of any multistoried building,
which has already provided with a connection under category-II will be given at a flat rate of Rs. 15,00/- for ½ “ size, Rs.25,000/- for ¾ “ size,subject to technical
feasibility. I case the applicant for such a connection is a lessee, the tenure of connection is subject to the concurrence of the owner and the tenure of the connection will be co-terminus with the lease period.
- In all cases of bulk supplies (Multi Stored Buildings and Non domestic supplies) where the monthly demand/consumption exceeds 1500KL the consuers are required to enter
into agreements with the HMWSSB for supply of water.
- All consumers required to enter into agreement with the HMWSSB for water supply and are required to keep as deposit with the HMWSSB an amount equivalent to the
charges for two months consumption of the agreed quantity along with applicable sewerage cess at current rate and all other consumers at the rates applicable at the
time of connection.

Infrastructure improvement charges :
- Existing Bulk connection holders are requesting for individual water connections from HMWSSB network, through the public representatives, in new areas where
there is no HMWSSB network. Infrastructure is to be provided by investing huge amount by the HMWSSB for supply of water,
by dispensing the bulk connections in the existing network and releasing indiviual new water supply connections from the HMWSSB network.
- Infrastructure Improvement Charges will be collected from every applicant to whom new individual connection given , in addition to normal connection
charges at the time of releasing of water supply connection, so as to meet the expenditure to be in curred for infrastructure improvement of distribution
network as per the HMWSSB norms.

Second Connection :

Green brigade (to be paid in addition to the above charges) :
- As a part of single window cell, trained manpower called as Green Brigade contractors have been authorized to give physical water supply connection based on the
sanction order in presence of the applicants.
- Except Green Brigade no one is authorized to give physical connection .

- Technical Supervision Charges for Connecting Sewer to HMWSSB Manhole by Applicant :
- Payment of monthly charges:
- On sanction connection, the consumers are required to pay the monthly charges towards water utilized and sewerage cess as tariff in force from provisions regulations time.
- At present the Tarif notified vide BP No. 136 dt. 10-11-2011 and B.P.No. 142 dt.-2-2014 are in force
- Additional pumping charges as to be paid by the co nsumers as per the demand raised by the HMWSSB.
